"Lovely hotel - classy place"

"Very central location, with good access to the city centre and train station as well as local spots"

"We had to move rooms initially as the wall heater had been left on and it was uncomfortably hot, plus there was a really bad smell (although the room looked cean). Hotel staff helpful and assigned new room without any fuss. Main negative is that half the hotel does not appear to have a lift so we had to haul suitcases up and down stairs. The second room was accessible by lift so much easier. Following that hiccup......rest of stay was very pleasant. Room comfortable and clean. Nice shower...

"Clean room staff were helpful, breakfast was good"

"The staff were welcoming and friendly. The evening meal was excellent, in a spacious and well designed area. The location was a good one for the Cotswolds"

"Fab central location, nice rooms, decent breakfast - really good base from which to explore Oxford city centre"

"Great food, breakfast is fabulous lots of choice and actually the hot breakfast was hot which was great compared to other hotels, lovely helpful staff, huge suite, just needs brightening with some colour and touches here and there. Air con needs checking as wasn’t that cold and I am a hot person so really wanted it to be better. Shame there is no jacuzzi in the pool area and the pool is shallow both ends but I did have a lovely massage with Brenda. Overall lovely stay definitely stay again."

"The hotel was clean and well maintained but the furnishings were a bit shabby. The breakfast was well cooked but choices were limited."

"Thanks"

"Almost everything was great. The room was spacious and decorated well. The communal areas were lovely, as was the food. There is a bit of maintenance needed in the pool/steam room & sauna area and it’s cold in the corridor to the steam room and sauna. It’s a shame that the jacuzzi has been filled in."

"We loved our stay at this hotel. The location is amazing and within walking distance to everything- shops, restaurants and sights. Great service from the staff! They leave hot chocolate, sparkling/ still water and cookies in the room and replace each day if they are taken/used. We arrived by coach bus and it was a 5 min walk from Gloucester Green bus station. Highly recommend!"

"We stayed in the newer annexe at the rea rof the hotel in a very clean and good sized room. We arrived early and manned to get one of the 8-10 car parks which was a bonus and especially as the hotel is just inside the new Oxford filter zone. The hotel is just of the High Street and only a 10min walk from the middle of the town centre and covered markets, Very friendly staff and very well appointed hoted , with a great location. We had the breakfast on the first morning and had a good hot and...

"I was in the premium room and the experience was great! My children enjoyed it. The restaurant food is well served and stuff were amazing"

"I'll start with the positives first: 1. Comfortable bed 2. Clean line and room 3. Fridge 4. Central location Less positive: 1. Since glazed windows on street side meant being repeatedly woken throughout night e.g until 3.40am on first night. 2. Woke to discover a crane directly outside window on first day (7am-8am) a one off but no prior warning. 3. No heating in bathroom 4. Shower cubicle passable but not as clean as I would expect a 'superior room. 5. Woken by bin men 5.40am on 2nd day,...

"Lovely, welcoming staff, an excellent location and a beautifully elegant hotel. We can't wait to come back :)"
