"My room was clean but compact. The shower had good water pressure but the drain was slow so there was excess standing water while taking a shower. The breakfast options were below expectations. There was no coffee available before 7am.
The beading was thin and no extra blankets. Parking was extremely poor and difficult to find"
"Great hotel, easy to walk to Pisa centre.
Staff were either v helpful at check in ( a young lady, sorry I did not get her name) , or to lazy to help us later when room key to our room would not work , the gentleman on reception had my 69year old husband going up and down 3 times to get it fixed, blamimg us!!
Eventually he reluctantly came upstairs on my husbands insistance + agreed the fault was on their side, no apology given at all! V poor service.
As we were leaving early a takeaway...
"Staff (all ladies) were extremely polite and helpful. Good included breakfast with hot & cold choices. Beds very comfortable and clean. "Double Executive Room with two dbl/queen beds and balcony" - second bedroom, through a doorway, was very small, furniture very old, wonky tap in bathroom. Clever photography misleading regarding room sizes. No fly/mosquito screens on windows so unable to open them OR use the balcony as the Mosquitos were very active. Windows not double glazed so traffic noise...
"Lovely stay at Versilia Lido UNA Esperienze for 5 nights!
The property is spacious and has a relaxed resort atmosphere. We were kindly upgraded to a large one bedroom apartment with a dining area balcony, which gave us plenty of space and we cooked in the apartment almost 5 nights stayed.
One feature we really appreciated was the in room washing machine with a built-in dryer. When you are travelling for a longer period, having laundry facilities inside the apartment is incredibly convenient...
"I found the hotel was very handy with the 24 hour desk especially as flight was delayed and missed the last train to Lucca and had to get a taxi. Staff was friendly and the rooms were clean and airy. Would highly recommend"
"We booked a small double room but it was very comfortable, and had everything we needed. The staff were very helpful and kindly tolerated my speaking Italian. Breakfast was varied and plentiful with great coffee. And the location was great - a walk from the station and a short walk from the city walls. Thank you"
"This property is exceptionally well-located within Lucca’s walled city and has the advantage of having parking (extra fee, must be reserved). Everything within the walled city was walkable from the hotel. And the breakfast was lovely."
