When we were there we ate both dinner and breakfast outside which was lovely, again looking over extensive grounds (although oddly the second tier of the garden below the main level was not well maintained at all) However the feel of the place was a bit chaotic and we heard a number of guests complaining about things which should have been easily remedied (tvs not right, AC not entirely working and so on) We had a lovely dinner but one of our servers made...

The food was always great particularly the breakfast and came out wonderfully hot and on hot place which is so often an issue in other hotels. It's lovely to sit out in the garden and we were staying while the World Cup and Wimbledon were on and it was easy to catch the games in the evening but also lots of space to get away from the action. "The hotel is a home from home with a luxury spa, Lovely staff and excellent food, it’s definitely worth the money. Lovely friendly atmosphere, gorgeous grounds and fabulous staff, I wish I could have stayed longer."

"Beautiful room. Bathroom was a Wet Room very useful for limited mobility and ease of showering. Nice toiletries. (No tissues though. That’s the only negative). Food was ok. Garden was amazing. Breakfast was first class with good quality ingredients served by 2 very friendly happy ladies. Sean & Chris were very welcoming. Overall a great find will def be back. Lesley & Mike"

"The rooms were upstairs from a skeavy pub. The pub was situated directly on a busy road. The room was hot and stuffy (no fan provided) so the window had to stay open. The traffic seemed to be roaring through my room. I had to beg for help carrying my bags up the stairs. English breakfast was offered but only with fried eggs (I can't digest fried food.). Coffee (no tea) was offered. I can't drink coffee. One of the worst places I stayed in the UK (& not cheap.)"
