"Spent three nights at Bedford Lodge. Pleasant stay, few niggles. Breakfast on two occasions were either under or overcooked so influenced our decision on evening dining. No handy charging points by the bed. I would suggest a location set up for coach parties visiting the racing and weddings rather than couples."

"Ideal location for attending a local event over the Bank Holiday weekend. All staff were polite and helpful. The only minor comment is that the room was not serviced for the whole 3 days we were there. Had to request for clean cups ,tea and milk. Extractor Fan in bathroom did not work ."

"Not quite an old hotel, but not modern either. Best things are the rooftop terrace view and location near several colleges and the Cam River. Six Restaurant also has a spectacular view on the 6th floor. Not much of a lobby, which presents an issue if you want to wait, but it is possible to use one of the restaurants or the terrace. "

"I had to walk 15 minutes from the bus but the area is so beautiful and peaceful I didn't mind. Staff very polite and helpful. Rooms and public areas clean. In general I love this place and if I'll be again in Peterborough I will certainly book a room here again. "

"Lovely old hotel in the centre of Peterborough, we had some frustrations finding the car park, but staff were incredibly welcoming when we finally arrived. The cleaning team were literally leaving our room when we arrived and upon realising they had made our twin beds up as a double, quickly turned round and resolved it"
