"Location is lovely quiet and picturesque. We were at a wedding close by so only needed the hotel to sleep at, the hotel is a bit in need of a re-furb but very nice staff and the room was fresh and comfortable. The room was clean, bedding and bed were comfortable we did not eat as arrived at 3 dropped bags and headed to wedding.left at 8 in morning
Would stay again as we both said apart from corridors and general impression it was a nice nights sleep
Plenty parking and nice area for a morning...
"The Castle House is very conveniently located and reasonably priced. Our room was gorgeous, including a wonderful tub for a relaxing bath and a huge, comfortable, fancy bed. Breakfast was delicious and packed lunches were available for us C2C hikers. Our only small gripe was that the hosts were not available in the evening to help us with laundry, but I would still recommend staying here!"
"We just stayed four nights at this hotel.
We enjoyed the location of the property—not to far from Leyburn, Hawes, or Grassington.
Good location for short and long walks or hikes.
You can walk to the falls from the hotel, and there are footpaths if you want to walk to all three falls. That was fun.
Just a quick drive to visit Bolton Castle—worth the visit.
We enjoyed the breakfasts—nice selection of pastries, cereals and fruit. And, the selection of hot items on the breakfast menu was...
"Just stayed 2 nights here and thoroughly enjoyed it.Friendly helpful staff and a delicious breakfast both mornings.Room was lovely and bright,A very good size with comfy beds.Would definitely return and would recommend to others."
"The room was clean with a lovely bathroom, no complaints there. The breakfast was good with a good choice, our only complaint was the evening menu, we were expecting good home cooked Yorkshire food but the food was too high end for us."
"Had a lovely 2 night stay, beautiful little B&B, close enough to Richmond whilst also still being in the countryside.
Owners were friendly, welcoming and helpful. Room was lovely, even had a little fridge and microwave.
We had a breakfast both mornings, whilst watching all the birds and a couple of woodpeckers out in the garden.
We would definitely stop here again."
"A beautiful property, very clean and well situated. Secure parking and easy access to Richmond. A true welcome and good value for money. Highly recommended."
"What a fantastic B&B this is. I stayed with my sister just for one night but wished it was longer. The owner, Andrew, is such a lovely bloke and made us feel very welcome. Our room was a twin and attention to detail was amazing. We had a little fridge with fresh milk and water. There was tea and coffee, homemade biscuits and fresh fruit. Breakfast was cooked to order and was fabulous. There are pubs and a couple of restaurants nearby and Andrew provides an honesty bar in the property. We ordered...
"Das Ambiente war sensationell! Ein sehr gelungener Aufenthalt und sehr nette "Hosts"! Das Frühstück und die Auswahl waren außergewöhnlich. Rundherum toll!"
"Another wonderful stay at Stow House - a beautiful boutique hotel in the Yorkshire Dales.
We stay in the Cowboy room - wonderful room with roll top bath and heaps of space, with fantastic views over the Dales!
We keep returning due to the great hospitality… this will be our 4th stay and we will be back!
Breakfast delicious. Decor is cool & stylish. Artwork on the walls. Lots of books. Honesty bar & cocktail hour with homemade cocktails from the Savoy cocktail book, kindly served in the bar...
