"Stayed here for a couple of nights over the Easter weekend and the whole stay was great. The staff was very helpful and attentive, the rooms are a great size, very clean and have all the amenities you could ask for. Had breakfast & dinner at the motel diner and was lovely food as well so could well recommend this if you’re not too sure where to go for food. Overall great place to stay if you’re in the area!"

"Room was far too hot-top floor and heating pumping out with no way to turn down. Small fan in room not up to job of cooling sufficiently. Bar /food not open. Disappointing for a Mercure hotel. Staff apologetic but unable to solve issue."

"Staff were all very friendly and attentive. Room was lovely and very good value for money. Hotel pool area needs an update but good for the kids. Bathroom in room needs a really good clean - grime around bath/shower. Shower had barely any power. The complimentary toiletries were not replinished when we arrived, which is very disappointing and a lack of attention to detail. "

"The hotel is near alot of businesses for food, shopping, and entertainment. Yet, it is dated and the lighting is dark to not show how wore down it is. Old is not an issue but dated and rundown us different. You have to pay extra for every selling point they offer. So for aĺl that unless you're set on swimming in a busy pool etc. then not worth it. The good thing is the location and the room was not freezing like most hotels. The staff were responsive. "

We truly appreciated the complimentary amenities, including parking, water, and fruits—small details that made a big difference and reflected genuine hospitality. The location is perfect—peaceful and quiet, yet very convenient for accessing Oxford city center, making it ideal for a relaxed stay. The staff were courteous, professional, and always ready to help, which made the entire experience even more enjoyable.
