"Overall good stay, only real issue being unable to take the paid for breakfast, would be a good idea to ensure breakfast times are stipulated pre booking as have been changed to a later (8am) start. "Fantastic service from the owners, they made us feel very welcome upon arrival. The beds were super comfortable and that was coupled with a great view. Lots of little details which added character to the room and gave it a homey feel such as small ornaments. The breakfast was lovely, a large selection of cold meats, pastries etc even though it was only us staying. Only a 10 minute drive to Newtown so it has everything you need."

"Met up with a friend at this delightful guest house. Louise is an excellent host and was very informative about the area and where to visit. The breakfasts were delicious and plentiful and set us up for the day. Room was clean and well presented and Louise thoughtfully gave us an extra heater as it was a chilly day. Can highly recommend."

"Huge place and comfortable enough. TV has no signal and there was no sign of a wifi code and no connection that I could make, so pointless having a tv in the place as not useable. Rooms were comfortable and big, bathroom is very nice too, shower needs some attention though as the top head is so limescales it sprays over the top of the shower and on to the floor, and there is some bad mould on the base, door runners also not working properly. Great location and for the size of the place not...

"A real hidden jem in a small village with lots of facilities. Opposite the Castle and duck pond. Not far to lots of tourist hotspots and when you get back plenty of free parking. Its an old building with creaking floorboards but that odds to the charm."
