"Property was okay, only reason it doesn’t get a 5 or 4 is that it’s a bit too expensive for what you get. Room type was not available but check with n. Person sorted it smoothly 👍😀. Breakfast was mad busy and not big enough for the amount of people, it was limited but very tasty. Bed was super comfy though. Again nothing in particular inherently wrong just a bit too expensive"

"We stayed at the Imperial Hotel for 4 nights, Booked a double room with a view (room 208) which was a sea view,big double windows for the view, The bathroom was huge with 2 more double windows bed was really comfy, Used the swimming pool a couple of times the whole pool was 4ft 6in deep which was a good thing if you are not a confident swimmer, My sister used the gym daily (not for me )Breakfast was brilliant plenty of choice ie cereal, cooked, basically what ever you want, waitress brings you...

"Couldn't get entry for ages as we weren't told 2 hotels had become one with different names still on the buildings.No private parking was a pain but what I can gather it's the same for most hotels. The lady that greeted us was really nice but unfortunately I couldn't understand a word she was saying as obviously she was foreign. Room was clean but the shower area was a bit tatty. If I had to use it again I probably would."
"Hotel was a lovely old hotel and everything needed was provided in the room. Due to the age there were some creaks and bumps and the church clock struck on the hour. So, earplugs were also provided if needed. That said i would definitely stay again."

"The room was ok although the bed seemed a bit too big for the room & the mattress was hard.
Bathroom}= the toilet lid hit you on the back when you sat on the seat, the sink was next to useless as the tap was sticking out to far from the wall & splashed everywhere when you turned it on & it also didn’t have a plug so you couldn’t even run water into the sink.
The breakfast was edible but not exceptional, poached eggs not cooked properly & scrambled eggs were like an omelette cut up"
"A really nice property and an awesome castle. positives: clean and spacious rooms, great staff, great onsite restaurant and pub, very convenient for walking into town, ample parking, great historic ambiance. negative: some remote sections of the castle interior could use a bit of touch-up. My sons loved it, as did I."

"Very nice spot to set up your base while exploring north wales. As a word of caution: its very convenient location to the bus and train service is a huge plus, but the actual train and bus service in this region is quite unreliable. I was able to make due but there were a few times I had to wait upwards of 2-3 hours for trains to return back to betwy y coed after a long hike so you may want to consider renting a car if you're exploring many parts of the region, but it is still very accessible...
