"Our stay at the Lorna Doone B&B could not have been better! We loved everything about our experience in this beautiful house with fantastically friendly hosts. Great room, a delicious breakfast and wonderful people who made us feel like royalty and family at the same time. Certainly one of the best places that we have ever had the luck to experience."
"A traditional B&B in a Victorian terrace, with clean, spacious, comfortable rooms. There are a lot of stairs and it’s uphill from the town so not suitable if you have mobility difficulties. Breakfast had lots of choice, with good vegan options too.
We recommend taking up the option of paying for their private parking as there was never any space on the street."
"Enjoyable stay at what is perhaps best described as a fantastic restaurant with rooms. The restaurant overlooks the water and both dinner and breakfast were excellent. However our room was landside, with only a view of Irsha Street. Although small, the room and facilities were excellent. Fresh milk in the fridge is always much appreciated by us tea drinkers."
"This was a lovely choice to stay in North Devon near Bideford and particularly for me for visiting RHS Rosemoor. The property is very close to all sorts of attractions plus the coastal path.
The easy parking felt very safe to leave the car and my room was compact but very well appointed with a superb wet room, dressing gowns, kingsize bed, choice of pillows and a generous amount of tea/coffee etc.
The continental breakfast is delivered to your room and was beautiful and plentiful and varied...

"We had a brilliant stay here just after Christmas for 6 nights. The cottage was spotless, really comfortable, and had everything we needed—it felt like a proper home away from home.
The kids absolutely loved feeding the farm animals every morning (so did we!) it was such a fun way to start the day and definitely made the stay extra special.
Carolyn and Carl were fantastic hosts—so friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble.
We’d definitely recommend to anyone looking for a family...
"We had a wonderful stay at The Salt House and couldn’t have asked for a better place to relax and unwind. The property was beautifully presented, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The property was surprisingly bigger than we expected too! It is located opposite a pub however we were pleasantly surprised by how quiet it was! If we ever visited Ilfracombe again we would stay here!"
