"Our family of 4 came in May 2026, 2 girls age 6 and 9. The hotel was nice and the pool and excellent proximity to the beach was great! Our girls enjoyed the balcony pool. Nice restaurant (we only really ate one restaurant few minutes from the hotel on the beach called somewhere else was yummy, very affordable and also great view of the beach). We’d definitely stay at Lanta Sand again. "

The view from the restaurant, where you also get your breakfast, was a true dream. The old town and the busiest areas of the island are quite far away, so you will have to either take taxis or book a scooter to get around (you can do both of these at the hotel reception). "We enjoyed this resort from the moment we arrived, extended our stay the day after arriving. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. Everything we needed was easily accessible. Kayaks, and snorkels provided for use, restaurant was great. Everything was amazing. We stayed for 7 nights. Exploring was easy on a scooter, other places we wouldn't even think about driving, but Koh lanta is very chill. A beach front villa is what we had. Amazing!
