For some strange reason the bar was never open. The area is lovely and good access on the tram or a lovely walk into the centre in about 20/25 mins."

"Excellent hotel. Arrived early and was able to access room early. Self checkin through ipad was easy to navigate. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. Liked thw technology in the room. Lighting, ambiance and TV controls on an ipad. Automated blackout shutters on the windows. On each floor was a coffee station and central ironing board. Bar and restaurant on main floor. Pizza was very good. Didn't try the buffet breakfast. Area is safe and walkable. A few convenience stores around. McDonalds across the street. 5 minute walk to train station."

"The rooms are so spacious and the bathroom is big too. The staff are all friendly. It was quiet so didn't get much outside noise. So many bars and restaurants around it. About a 10 minute walk and you are in the main square. About a 15 minute walk from Amsterdam Central Station. There are lots of tram stops near by if you don't want to be walking as much. "

"We rented bikes at the hotel and had a wonderful experience riding along the canals and through the city. Love the way they incorporated art and architecture reminiscent of the former ship building location to tie in the local history. "
