"Walden Retreat was an excellent get away to enjoy peace, privacy, and a truly beautiful setting. The “tents” are really like small bungalows and every bit as comfortable as a hotel room would be with air conditioning, bathroom and kitchen. We enjoyed sitting on the veranda and drinking coffee or building a fire in the fire ring and sipping wine and watching the sunset. "Stayed as a personal retreat. It was quiet, very clean. I was late driving in and they reached out via text message to make sure I had the code I needed at my fingertips. I even watched a hummingbird for a while in the small private courtyard area. It was a nice retreat and only minutes from downtown. "

"The Coco Casita was cute and clean. The price we paid for the Eclipse stay was astronomical, but we waited until April to book. The regular price seems reasonable for a roomy one-bedroom, nicely and newly renovated. There is a Weber charcoal grill, but needs some grilling tools (at least tongs). The backyard fence has a few too many holes for privacy in the hottub, although there really isn't anyone around. The kitchenette is handy, though some dish soap for the dishes is needed. We enjoyed sitting on the veranda and drinking coffee or building a fire in the fire ring and sipping wine and watching the sunset. If you are planning to visit some of the wineries, it is very close to the one concentrated around Hye. But it is a 45 minute drive into Fredericksburg. So the seclusion has pros and cons. We really loved our stay and hope to return again soon. "
