"We stayed here to explore the local area - particularly Cragside. We learned that the area has so much to offer - so will definitely be back! Our room was roomy and well equipped. The staff are really friendly and helpful. We didn't eat here (except for the excellent breakfast) but the food looked good and the bar had a nice vibe. Beers are good! Easy and free parking right outside"

Only small complaint was that there was no shelving etc in the bathroom to store toiletries. We booked evening meals each night and they were delicious and generous portions.
