"We had an excellent stay at the Double Tree. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. The hotel is also very welcoming to dogs which was great for us. The location is also good with a short walk to the centre of everything. We would stay again."

"The bar area was lovely and it was a very nice breakfast. The corridors to the room we were in seemed a bit tired and the sensored lights didn't work when we were going back to our room. "We loved this hotel, lovely rooms, nice bar and restaurant, helpful and friendly staff, lovely garden. Only downside was that our room wasn't serviced and we had to ask for fresh towels, when we mentioned this at reception we were told that we should have requested this but the check-in receptionist omitted to tell us that. For a 4-star hotel you should get fresh towels and a serviced room as standard. But otherwise excellent."
