"Beautiful room, great amenities such as restaurant and bar ( also serves food in the bar area) , pool and hot tub. Including free parking and free full breakfast which was very good. The grounds are well kept with lots of places to relax and enjoy the views. You can also eat and have drinks outside if you want to. Room was cleaned daily with fresh towels."

"Lovely room and facilities but why charge for car park if you’re staying, appreciate it’s near the airport but there must be a way of controlling access without penalising guests who have already paid to stay."

"I liked the fact that it’s 24 hrs as always bar o/ front desk staff available. Very friendly . Room large and comfy , asked for extra pillows which were delivered . Easy to stay here and close to station large car park £5 per night"

Mattresses were comfy but the single beds felt very narrow also the legs of the bed were angled out and because of the dark colour too, a few stubbed painful toes! Food was a bit on the pricey side £8 for a portion of sweet potato fries! Breakfast was nice, enough choice. And the shower was nice and powerful. "

"Must have been a beautiful hotel in its day but now it’s very tired, no staff, no working lift, or working aircon, lightbulbs blown. Such a shame really because the location is ideal and there’s a cheap carpark around the corner"

"The hotel is well placed for visiting Nottingham and with good parking facilities close by. There are also some decent pubs near by to eat at and in walking distance a range of eateries, etc. The room that I stayed at was clean but small, but as a single traveller adequate. The shower worked well and the bed was comfortable. There was plenty of tea, coffee and biscuits and the tv was adequate. The staff were all helpful, friendly and efficient. The breakfast had a decent range of options...
