"Lovely grand property awaits you when you drive in. We had a garden room in a newer part of the hotel. It's fair yo say it could do with a bit of facelift but nevertheless the room was clean, the bed very comfortable and extremely quiet. Buffet breakfast is very good - a huge choice for all including vegans. We tried the spa/pool which was really nice too! "

"In general a good hotel, location and amenities are good. Some parts of room are looking a little tired and could do with some TLC. Staff positive and friendly and took on board comments at checkout. Would stay again. "

"Overall I was pleased with the hotel and staff. My only issue, after a long drive and late check in, was the lack of food selection at the bar. The receptionist ensured me that I could get the same selection of food at the bar since the restaurant was closing. Two selections were shot down immediately. I was told only burgers and sandwiches were avaliable. I just expected a better menu."

"Lovely stay room in main hotel really comfortable. Room was very clean, and bathroom delightful with a bath. Bed very comfortable. Nice products in the bathroom, fan, iron and hair dryer in the room. Very pleasant stay. Staff are lovely and nice easy check in and out. Would highly recommend to eat there too, was really delicious in the evening Have not sampled breakfast due to early morning but would if staying longer. Parking is very close behind hotel easy to walk to. "

"If you can see beyond the dated decor, you will find this is a wonderful family run hotel. Rooms are clean, comfy and well stocked. Towels are soft and large. On the whole, food is delicious and reasonably priced. Breakfast could be hotter. Cheese and cold meats always looked dried out and curling at the edges. Great facilities (spa, pool, gym, tennis court, pool table, grounds) and super friendly and efficient staff. Big downfall was dated TVs with no Netflix or movie channels, and casting...
