"The hotel was very nice, parking was simple. And the location was very good - the city centre was on the door step. There was Browns bar and restaurant in the hotel, and this was very good.
Nice place if you wish to soak up the city centre atmosphere."

"If you are visiting Cardiff I highly recommend staying at the Park Plaza in Cardiff. Efficient and smooth check-in. Spacious comfortable rooms, with beds that are so comfortable, sleep is no problem at all! Peaceful too. "This was our first holiday after 5 years due to severe illness. We told staff this as it was my sisters 10 year wedding anniversary and my mom's birthday who suffers with MS. They said something special would be organised. Nothing was. I asked at reception which then gave 3 Welsh cakes with happy birthday written on BOTH plates. Really disappointing. We live beetle in the room and gave it in a glass to reception. No glass was replaced. We stayed Executive no robes ( asked 3 times) no wellbeing...

"The room was spacious, clean and well
maintained. The staff were helpful and pleasant especially the lovely Scottish lady on reception.
We didn’t have the breakfast or have any food from the bar as they sell peanuts which my daughter has an anaphylactic allergy to. This meant we had to go out for food.
The pool was a great feature but had limited hours for children so wasn’t used as much as we had anticipated. They had a lot of kids swimming lessons on at the same time which again we hadn’t...

"The room and bedding was fine - clean.
The rest of the hotel needs a really deep clean. I booked for the pool and jacuzzi and took one look and thought- no way am I going in there! The lifts need a deep clean between the doors and windows need attention. A good steam clean ever would do no harm.
No bar open on Sunday evening. Nothing in the mini bar. Not even a bottle of water!
On a positive note, it was quite enough to get some rest.
For £200, I excepted better."
