"This is a fabulous hotel if breaking the journey north or south. The only thing I would change is signage to get out car park. The happiest hotel staff I have ever encountered."

"Fantastic clean hotel and the staff were lovely. We did have a police visit to arrest someone smoking weed and another couple arguing for hours but I don’t feel these are a negative on the hotel and its staff as I’m sure these people don’t live in the hotel. Would definitely recommend. Rooms lovely and even though the couple were arguing there was no other noise. Not paper thin walls like other hotels where you can hear toilets flush etc. We will definitely be staying the next time we visit relatives in Darwen x"

"We checked in early before going to a concert in Liverpool. The staff were friendly and informative making the process smooth and hassle free. On returning much later in the evening we brought drink from the bar that were reasonably priced before returning to our room to settle in for night. The room was clean, and temperature easy to regulate. Can say if we need to stay in the area again we will definitely look to book here first."
