"This was our third visit to the Fisherman's Cot and the first time for an overnight stay. There is a good selection of food at reasonable prices and very good breakfast. Staff were friendly and polite.
We stayed in an annex which was OK but the outside fabric of the building is in need of renovation. Room was fine and clean, although bath panel was heavily water damaged. There is scope to improve decor (pictures on the wall for example) to give a more homely feel"
"Our room was well maintained and we like staying in unique, historic properties. A bath in the nook in front of the window seemed a little strange. We thought a sofa with a coffee table would be a more relaxing option after a day of sightseeing.
The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The state of the beer garden is a shame. It looked really run down albeit unique with a throne at one of the tables. If you struggle with mobility, the car park is between 5 - 10 mins walk away. Not a...

"Wow! We liked everything about our stay. The directions were spot on (not always easy in the UK) and the on -site parking was an added bonus. The location is walking distance to The Valley of Rocks in Exmoor National Park, and to the super cute “Old Town” area of Lynton. Our room was spacious and stocked with everything we needed to feel like we were in a deluxe hotel. My husband was especially impressed by the complimentary cake. Superb breakfast, which is made to order with many options....
