"Very modern and clean hotel,with friendly staff. Room was quite quirky with a glass door leading to WC and shower, which had window in. Very large TV with a good range of HD channels. Parking was cheap with free electric charging points. The only letdown was the breakfast, the hot food was not hot enough and plates were cold, along with the quality was not good. If we stopped there again would have room only and get breakfast from onsite Starbucks or ASDA, Maccies next door. "

"We loved the hotel, the room was lovely, the beds were so comfy, the Dyson hairdryers,comimentary chocolates and bath room toiletries were really first class. Unfortunately the a/c in our room wasn’t working so it was very hot but the staff were very helpful and although couldn’t fix it they compensated us very generously Great location, lovely bar, garden and breakfast. We will be back ☺️"

"Very good location to stay near the town center and a short drive away from Stonehenge! The only thing I wish was improved was the plumbing at the guestroom toilets. There was no sufficient water flow and you need to flush 10 times. Shower and sink worked great, though."

When we arrived the car park was as good as full, but we managed to squeeze in (during our visit we arrived to no spaces in the car park, so it is definitely pot luck as to whether or not you will be able to park). We got to our room and found dirty / ripped cushions on the bed, marks (possibly coffee stains) on the wall and ceiling (bizarrely), dirty marks in the plug hole of the shower, and a brown mark on the wall to...

"It was very central in the beautiful village of Romsey. The staff were friendly, and the rooms wonderfully comfortable and clean. I would highly recommend this hotel."

"Been coming here for a few years as its such a good location and generally nice hotel. Made the mistake of booking a ground floor room, was lovely having access to the gardens with patio doors but not so much being kept awake by the people in the room above us... literally every conversation, footstep and bedroom gymnastics. The staff were great 10/10. The location is quiet and lovely by the river. Very convenient for walking into town and lots of parking."

"The hotel is currently being renovated so different areas of the hotel were unaccessible. That being said, what was available was very nice and very well organised. "We had a great stay at Bartley Lodge after visiting Peppa Pig world inside Paultons Park Family of four: two adults and two kids age 3 and 7 - both autistic so they are loud and a bit restless waiting, but we felt welcome and comfortable during our stay. The lady managing the dining room brought them colours and books for the table to play with as the conservatory had less WiFi signal for watching cartoons. Great breakfast options really filling and fresh including the usual familiar cereal...

"A very pleasant stay in a nice hotel in a beautiful location. In the heart of the New Forest and miles of beautiful walks without needing to use your car to access them. Dining options very good with both the Conservatory and Armada restaurant serving very tasty food. The only issue was very slow service at breakfast - having ordered simple mains we waited over 45 for these to arrive - unacceptable for a simple breakfast service. "The hotel is magical - the staff super friendly. The decor elegant - remodel very well done - its very chic and not done in cheep way - the quality of toiletries and tea in room are high end - organic - wish we could stay here longer. The only thing to watch out for is check-in is closed from 12h-15h. The stairway up to the rooms is a bit narrow. Not a problem but just to be aware if you use oversized luggage. I would defiantly stay here again. "

"We had a fantastic stay. The room was immaculate and I could use the lift to our room. (OA in knees) The shower was gorgeous. We came for a memorial which was in the chapel nearby and then refreshments at Buckners Hard. The staff were amazing and did very well, even though a bit understaffed for a while. The food was amazing and delicious. We will, definitely stay again. See more of the sights and the ponies 🥰 Thank you ☺️ "
