"The Beach Club is an old gem situated near the end of the Promenade as you head out toward Newlyn. It has a lot of charm, is easily accessible to the beach, and the food in the hotel's restaurant was surprisingly good. (The buttersquash soup was my particular favorite). The staff was friendly and accommodating. Special thanks to Ashama -- we belatedly had to book an extra night's stay, and she figured out a way that we didn't have to change rooms, for which my husband and I were very grateful....

"Wonderful 6-day stay in the self-service apartment. Staff is so kind and helpful. Parking lot for hotel guests is large and easy to get in and out of. Hotel is steps away from the area bus stop and the walk down to the St. Michael's Mount causeway. Restaurants and shops nearby all definitely worth visiting (especially the hotel restaurant Cutty Sark and the hotel bar). Would absolutely stay again!"

"Great location, excellent breakfast and very attentive hosts. Very disappointed by the size of the room - the Heligan is tiny - just enough room for the bed and very little wardrobe space - so had to keep my clothes in my case and it was a squeeze in and out of the bathroom - which has an opaque window - so if you dont mind seeing your partner on the loo then its ok. For a room described as 'deluxe' with a kingsize bed it was a let down, having travelled 300 miles to get there. Overall though...

"Such a lovely place ..clean ,all is organized ,parking available ,dinning area ,we made good use of the washing machine and the cooking appliances and utensils...feels soo good ...jus near the sea ,restaurants and shops are nearby "
