"The hotel is one we've stayed at a few times as ideal for Stansted Airport. The staff were very helpful. What disappointed us was the room : the mini bar was just an empty cabinet but still had the instructions of paying for what you had on it. There was no little milk pots for the tea and just one english breakfast tea bag and there were 2 of us. No coffee sachets either. There was one bath towel we had to share. We could've asked for another but we were just there for 1 night so didn't bother....

Me and my boyfriend stayed one night as we came down to Southend. The price was relatively expensive as we booked last minute but the room was very very poorly. "The cheerful staff at both the reception and restaurant were the only positives. The facility itself needs some renovations. Toilets don't flush properly, and some broken windows and dull exterior. About the worst Holiday Inn I have stayed in, and I have stayed in quite some number!"
