"I booked last minute due to being stuck due to train cancellations. The property was very close to the train station, market, restaurants, etc. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. There is onsite laundry facilities as well. The room was spacious and clean. The area was peaceful and safe."
"Historic hotel near mid evil Castle. Friendly and helpful staff. Room was very pleasant except for the toilet being in a closet separate from the bathroom. What's with the French and their separate toilet in a closet!
Nice garden. Breakfast nice but eggs needed to be cooked longer. Helpful woman in the buffet. Walkable near lots of stores and restaurants in historic area."
"The hotel is situated in a fantastic location, a stone’s throw from the medieval citie. I stayed in room 4 on the ground floor of the hotel for a 3 night trip. The room was beautiful and well equipped with coffee machine, water, air conditioning, bath and shower. The staff were friendly and very helpful throughout our visit. A big thank you to the night porter for my birthday drink. I would definitely recommend and visit again."
"We loved our stay here. The veranda and back garden were a welcome escape after a day spent exploring. The front desk was very helpful when our train was cancelled. Location is next to the castle entrance. Easy walk into the new town as well."
"Wonderful French chateau with a wonderfully friendly staff. We extended our stay here due to the charm and ambience as we head to Spain for the eclipse. The room is perfect, with the best bed we have experienced this trip and a lovely balcony. Breakfast was also great. Spectacular value for money. I highly recommend a stay here."
