"This is a wonderful, quality hotel with a great location. The downstairs bar and restaurant areas are particularly impressive. But, my particular room was small with poor ventilation. It overlooked a roof area with large external extractor fans that were noisy, throughout the night. The provided table top fan rattled noisily and could not be used. It may be best to book rooms in the main building. For those in the 'hundred' block, the hotel should install quality fans and look at putting the...
"Our room looked out to the cathedral. It was spacious, a great bathroom with shower, and a copper bath in the bedroom. Staff here are outstanding, and Ely itself is compact, picturesque and very interesting indeed.
Fabulous location to explore everywhere on foot, no vehicle required !"
"Honestly, I can't say enough about this hotel. It is in a beautiful little town. The hotel is neat and tidy with a cozy feel. The staff of the hotel are absolutely superb. Food is delicious."
"We only spent one night but loved the hotel. The location is great. Plenty of bars, restaurants and shops a few minutes walk away and a beautiful park opposite. The rooms were very clean and spacious. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Lots of seating in the lounge. On arrival by car, you hand over your key and your car is parked and luggage delivered to your room which is a nice touch. Would highly recommend"
"Hotel and staff were excellent, as was the food both breakfast and dinner (the onion rings are delicious). Parking is a bit of a faff, short stay overnight and long stay after 08:30, but that's the council not the hotel."
"Extremely well located for visiting Ely - a ten minute walk to the city centre/cathedral. Lovely quiet location. Cozy, very clean rooms. Fantastic food - breakfast and evening meal. Robert is a delightful host. A wonderful place to stay. Highly recommend.0"
"5 star experience at Fairlight Lodge. Room, breakfast, hosts, price all exceptional. Hosts ecologically minded with comfort in mind. Exceeded our expectations and we were extremely impressed."
