"Our first impressions was that when we book we see or I saw the pub picture and that building looks much better looked after as opposed to the rooms building. Our room had 2 massive sticks stains on the carpet that made me uncomfortable to walk barefoot considering it was still hot weather when we got there. The room serviced we asked it to be done more often as it was hot and sweaty yes the towels were changed but the bedding was not changed which was dissapointed about. The also had minor...

"We had a very comfortable stay at the wheatsheaf in Swindon, staff were friendly and welcoming, a bar that was open for drinks and places to sit and relax. Our room was comfortable although window wouldn’t stay open to let in fresh air as it was a warm day outside. Our even meal was delicious with a good choice of menu. Breakfast was also good and the service was swift. a great start to our day. All in all an enjoyable stay would revisit this hotel again in the future."

"Sehr aufmerksames Personal. Gute und moderne Ausstattung, was von außen auf den ersten Blick von uns nicht vermutet wurde. Ausstattung ist sehr gut, sogar ein Kühlschrank befindet sich auf dem Zimmer. Sowohl das Abendessen als auch das Frühstück waren sehr gut! Insgesamt die beste Unterkunft auf unserer Rundreise!"

"Usual YHA setup but in interesting and peaceful location on a private courtyard, nice and quiet even in the heart of Berwick. Breakfast made to order and very good, includes coffee or you can have one made on an espresso machine for an up charge. Private rooms available with en-suite was a good balance of value for money and privacy"
