"Overall, we had a great time (in 2 of the cottage rooms). The hotel is well located for the beach and walks to restaurants etc. The rooms were big and the beds were too (and comfortable). The staff were friendly and helpful. The car park costs were good compared to other local car parks albeit we were lucky getting a space at the Marriott car park - there are others very close by, however. Alas, we had a wait for our cottage rooms to be available (4:30pm) but were given a couple of drinks...

"3 hour trip from Eastbourne, very pleased with the cleanliness and look of the hotel. Staff very friendly. Car park easy to find. However the bed was very uncomfortable and we could feel the springs so had to lay on top of the duvet. Bed was also very clearly two singles pushed together as the sheet did not fit properly. "

"Staff were very friendly & helpful. Unfortunately the fan made a loud noise and when upstairs room had a shower, our bathroom ceiling leaked. The toilet flush knob came off. I was surprised there were no toilets in pool area/changing rooms and one of the lockers are our pound coin. "

"Lovely spacious room with extra lounge area. The tv in the lounge area had no remote control so we didn’t use it. It was a bit soulless- a couple more pictures on the big empty wall would’ve cheered it up a bit. I preferred the seating area in the main bedroom- much nicer space. Can’t believe there was no long mirror anywhere in the suite! Plenty of room for one! Also iron and ironing board would’ve been handy."
