"Unclean room. I had dinner included in my booking but was told no dinner included. Was told the same at breakfast but i showed booking info and was allowed in."
"The decor throughout the hotel is somethIng to behold. Gorgeous original entrance to the lift, quirky decorations everywhere. It really added to the experience of a nights stay in a hotel. The rooms were very different from the norm and very clean. The staff were very upbeat and welcoming. We had a few long chats in the bar with the night shift manager. He was so good giving us a lot of historical info about the hotel and also the surrounding area.
All in all, it’s a place we will defo be back...
"Lovely staff, nice breakfast and as clean as it could be when it clearly isn’t being kept in good repair. Bath all rusted and chipped. Couldn’t fault the staff though, super helpful and friendly!"
"Quirky Hotel , little bit dated now but overall nice and clean. Very noisy outside our room during our stay & screaming down the hall way during the middle of the night by some drunken wedding guests, obviously not the hotel’s fault but"

"A beautiful Spa hotel with lovely amenties. The staff were so helpful. There were quite a few steps to negotiate in the Spa which was not good but, again, the staff were very helpful. Unfortunately the breakfast did not live up to the rest. The bacon looked pale and very uninteresting full of white stuff! The whole cooked breakfast was quite cold. Continental breakfast was good and varied. Teapots and milk jugs would stop a lot of walking about! Dinner was really good."
"Needs a good update. A bit of a throwback to the 70s! Room clean.but in a poor state of repair.
Not impressed that you have to pay £7 a day for parking in the hotel car park which adds to tbe overall cost!"

"The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The room had everything we needed and had modern facilities. The hotel was in a good location for visiting sites in the area. The restaurant attached to the hotel was also excellent."
"From start to finish it was a delightful stay, it had a lot of charm and we loved the chickens and goats the breakfast was great with all that you needed and more, the host was lovely and we enjoyed our stay, l will recommend this place to everyone at your club and we will return in the future.
