"Overall the place was well presented and very clean. I’d had a very long day travelling and didn’t arrive until after 9pm. There was a disco happening on arrival and it was extremely noisy - which was no problem. However, I had been placed on the first floor. I could hear the disco from downstairs and really struggled to switch off from being able to hear this noise. In hindsight I should have asked to move to a higher floor but due to being tired I just grumbled in my room instead. I think...

"It was close to Cosham"

"O"

"The hotel is nice with clean spacious rooms. The furniture and decor need some improving as they are mismatched and the information in the room is very limited. No information about the grounds or the area. Most disappointing spa. It was filthy with clumps of hair in showers and plastic dirt and hairs by the poolside and dirty tea cups. The alarming thing was we returned the second morning and it was still the same. No cleaning had taken place over night. The spa is advertised as a relaxing...

"Lovely comfortable room. Excellent shower. Excellent breakfast. I didn’t have time to enjoy the bar or drawing room but it looked lovely. It’s really well located in the centre of town - and Farnham is a lovely town to visit."

"Very dated and over priced."

"Room was okay. They put us out in the Grange even when that was not made clear in the booking and it did not seem that the main building was full. Rooms were decent but bathrooms especially need upkeep - missing tiles, tight handles for spout etc. Breakfast was better than expected had vegan butter / soy milk. Limited staff so not easy to get help etc. They had golf carts that should have been able to take people (especially old people in the cold) from one end to the other end of the property...

"This was my first stay in DoubleTree Southampton and it’ll be the first on my list of places to stay when I return to the city again. Friendly staff, fantastic rooms, great shower in room, great food and atmosphere and breakfast was top notch. Definitely recommend this hotel."

"Bit confusing the layout but nice clean hotel and food good"

"Location not in walking distance of anything such as stores or railways. Short drive to Portsmouth Harbour. Quiet area."

"Haven’t been to Aviator Hampshire for a number of years, but it was just as lovely as I remembered. Room, Sky Bar, Breakfast, Staff - all exceptional. Special mention to Will on the front desk and Poppy who was assisting with breakfast in the morning. I’d highly recommend and I plan to return in the near future. Thank you!"

"All good. Great for families"

"The hotel is very central and has a pleasing feel to it. The staff are very helpful. Our bedroom was a little tired in places, due to being old rather than modern, but it was large and the bed was comfortable. The hotel has lovely touches to the common parts, such as rows of cyclamen on the window sills. We thought the parking was over-priced although we understood that we were in the centre of Winchester. We decided not to book breakfast as we thought it was quite expensive and there are lots...

"We enjoyed the pool and driving range."
