"1 bed appt, perfect for my needs. Only quibble was sofa. Nice balcony over looking courtyard. Spa facility (pool, jacuzzi, steam room etc) was great, very clean and well run. Its a shame the restaurant wasn't running but as I had an appt with a kitchen it wasn't really a problem. Small shop on site open for 2 hrs each evening, and a temporary bar above the spa. Its a bit in the sticks but only 20 mins drive from Bideford. All the staff were friendly and helpful."
"The hotel was excellent. It felt very upmarket but without an upmarket price. Room was small but absolutely fine for one person. Wonderful bathroom! Food was excellent. Will be going back next year."
"We loved our stay. Our room was fabulous with a free standing bath and seperate rainfall shower. The bathroom and bedroom were equally as spacious. The breakfast was lovely, overnight oats, smoked salmon and scrambled egg for me with a lovely view from the dining area.The hotel is so close to the beach and some fabulous walks"
"The owner was absolutely lovely! I had some inspiring conversations with her when I was breakfasting on my own about some travel destinations that interest me and that she has been to. I couldn't fault this place really other than I was staying during unprecedented heatwave and my attic room was very hot.
Something that cannot be helped though, I appreciate!"

"Enjoyable stay at what is perhaps best described as a fantastic restaurant with rooms. The restaurant overlooks the water and both dinner and breakfast were excellent. However our room was landside, with only a view of Irsha Street. Although small, the room and facilities were excellent. Fresh milk in the fridge is always much appreciated by us tea drinkers."
