"We stayed at the hotel for three days to visit the attractions in the surrounding area. Our room that overlooked the harbour, was comfortable and clean. The reception staff were very helpful and welcoming. Breakfast offered a variety of foods from cereal and continental choices to full English cooked breakfast. We would certainly stay again if we were in the area."

"I loved my room at the very top of the hotel, it was very comfortable and had windows on both sides. I was told it was top floor without lifts, and I was fine with this. I loved all the paintings, antique furniture and knock knacks around the public areas, and there was real character to the place The reception staff were extremely friendly and pleasant. I felt completely safe and comfortable as a solo traveller. "

The atmosphere was weird with music playing outside the dining area when it should of been inside. Waiting time for dishes too long and stagf didnt clean tables. Very disappointing to be honest "

"Edwardian splendour Balcony needs attention and really good bathroom products are difficult to use in the shower as they don’t dispense properly which is a shame Would stay again as it’s a hotel with great character "

"Upon check in, I requested a room in the ground floor because my companion is not able to go up the stairs and reception managed to move our room from 2nd floor to the ground floor. Thank you! The room was spacious, very clean and very modernly designed. Breakfast is a buffet with lots of choices and everything delicious.
