"Very nice location - in a wealthy enclave. Excellent footpath along a canal takes you most of the way into Lincoln (3-4 mile walk). Great pub, decent food. If you want up market restaurants, there are a few within a 5 minute walk in the neighboring area. Quite area, nice and clean."
"Hotel room was nice and clean, spacious enough for the 2 of us, everything was in working order and tea/coffee stocked up. Only down size was the bed, it was nice and big however, made a noise every time you moved and was quite soft compared to what I’m used to but I guess that’s down to preference."

"We booked a double room but were not told it was a disability access room. We were right next to the entry access door which banged open shut all night with other guests so hardly slept. Also the sink was small & far too low to use easily. The room decor & furniture was very low quality for such a beautiful building & the complementary tea etc & shampoo was very basic. This was not a cheap hotel & we were hoping for a beautiful room like the pictures but instead were left very disappointed."

-4pm is too late to start check in and it messed up my day, especially given the far out location
-ground floor on the road next to the common room isn't a comfortable place to sleep, again showing care for income, not service
-door codes were fiddly - I could hear others struggling from my room, and could feel stressful
-no hairdryer, broken drawers, shower...
