"The hotel had great security in the hallways, where the rooms were. Not endless hallways, quiet. Restaurant was good and service was good as well. Due to a shuttle problem in the afternoon, we decided against going to Amsterdam for a few hours.Later on the bus was working again, and next morning it was great."

"Stayed near Schipol Airport after disembarking from HA cruise to Scotland and Iceland for 3 days before returning to US. Only negative was cost of getting to downtown Amsterdam and from Rotterdam. We walked and found a lovely butterfly sanctuary next to hotel and thru business area. Walked in another direction and found a lovely cafe. Just didn't get to visit other museums on list in Amsterdam. Loved the airport shuttle"

"The hotel was very nice. We liked that it was older (built in 1920) and had a lot of character. Also it was about 3/4 of a mile from the train station so out of the hub-bub and noise of downtown old Amsterdam. We had a nice view of the waterway and there were several local places to eat. I'm glad we chose The Hoxton for our stay."
