"A lovely quirky & very old hotel. We had a great stay & will come back again. Not really any negatives above what you would expect from an old historic building. "We were happy to find this property close to family near Redditch. Ample parking, comfortable room, bathroom was gorgeous. Be prepared to carry your bags up and down stairs as there is no lift (two staff members offered to carry them for us, which we declined but appreciated). "The bedroom was really old, tired and dirty. It didn’t look as advertised, and I was disappointed. It was very dusty, particularly on lamps and surfaces. The wardrobe also didn’t open properly. We passed the bar on the way to our room & were kindly given a menu to look at.
