"It’s an average hotel that does the job. Having to request and wait for an iron and ironing board doesn’t feel very “4 star”. Decent location for what I needed though and usually a decent rate compared with some other hotels in Reading city centre."

"Overall stay was okay good for a pit stop. Only issue was communication from the staff about breakfast. We were not told upon arrival what time breakfast was served no letter no notes inside the room about breakfast and assuming that it still continues on till 11am. I understand we could have asked but getting told by the manager there was an opportunity to ask left me feeling like it was my fault when it is your job to inform people and give good customer service. "Clean and spacious room. Great amenities. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was tasty. Bed was enormous! Nice having separate shower and bath."

"Room OK, shower/bath room is cramped. Pool and sauna are small. Food is good but staff friendliness is very to the point. Corridor carpets are awful, stained and dirty."

"Stayed at the hotel for 2 nights for my daughters wedding. Stayed in a suite , which was lovely and big. The staff were very friendly and helpful always. The food in the stables was lovely and the wedding food in the barn was delicious. Everyone loved their rooms and all the food too and the wedding was a huge success thanks to everyone who helped organise the Special day."

"Really nice hotel"

"HVAC was quiet."

"Very nice stay. Dissapointed that Uber is mot reliable in this village and we waited 45 mins. However tge receptionist was very helpful and got us a local taxi."

"We loved our stay at this hotel. The location is amazing and within walking distance to everything- shops, restaurants and sights. Great service from the staff! They leave hot chocolate, sparkling/ still water and cookies in the room and replace each day if they are taken/used. We arrived by coach bus and it was a 5 min walk from Gloucester Green bus station. Highly recommend!"

"Another good stay! Staff are all very friendly and helpful. Hotel is conveniently located for the town and all its restaurants etc…."

We arrived early and manned to get one of the 8-10 car parks which was a bonus and especially as the hotel is just inside the new Oxford filter zone. The hotel is just of the High Street and only a 10min walk from the middle of the town centre and covered markets, Very friendly staff and very well appointed hoted , with a great location. We had the breakfast on the first morning and had a good hot and...
