"The room was small and as situated at the front of the hotel quite noisy adjacent to the busy high street.
There was no fridge, the air conditioning was poor and there was a noisy fan provided as compensation.
We mentioned we were celebrating an anniversary when booking and at check in but no acknowledgment.
The restaurant was overpriced, very average food which my husband mentioned, again no acknowledgment.
We ate out for the rest of our visit.

"The room was hot with only one fan. The windows only opened about two inches so if there was a wind we could not feel it. I absolutely hated the toilet area in its own room, very very small. Being a bigger person it was very difficult for me to clean myself. The toilet paper kept falling to the floor as the thing to hold the paper was useless. The restaurant was excellent which had good food but the waitress was solidly good. She did a super good job and was very polite. The front desk...
"The room (especially the bathroom) was tired and needs a refurb.
Room could have done with a mini fridge and hotel would have benefited from a daytime shop selling sandwiches, drinks and such.
Spa was good and swimming pool warm though it had a section taped off which was not ideal.
Breakfast could have been better, a decent coffee machine offering Lattes, Americano etc rather than flasks of dreadful coffee.

Dog friendly rooms, with also an on site dog wash (we wish we’d taken our dog).
Good terrace to sit on with a drink from the bar in the original building.
Didn’t eat dinner in the restaurant, but was slightly overrun at breakfast.

"I really enjoyed my time here, the staff were incredibly helpful. My favourite part was that the spa was included, we had slippers and robes provided for us. The show stopper was that it had smart tv in the hotel room which made the biggest difference."
"Bed is very hard, uncomfortable to sleep
Room service is expensive, paid 38 quid , asked to swap chips for potato and she still charged me extra, so attention to detail is poor, when you paying so much. Otherwise its a very nice hotel, rooms are spacious and aircon.
Also this occasion I had a view of inside, didn't like that at all, if you psychic high prices for a room, then at least let me see outside"
"We really enjoyed our stay at Second Nature. It has a modern and ‘homey’ feel to it; my teenage son loved sleeping in the loft bed which was so cozy and comfortable. It was great having a kitchen and especially appreciated having laundry facilities downstairs. Check in was easy and the desk staff members were all so helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting comfort (vs. a luxury marble lobby type of hotel experience)."
