Issue originated through expedia; however, staff failed to provide a reasonable late-night resolution. Level of member support fell short of Marriott’s standard of service, and staff on site represented Marriott poorly. Tone was condescending and unhelpful. The pool area especially was not well maintained, and the pool water was very cloudy — almost like blue mud. "The location was sketchy. There were open lots full of glass and trash on multiple sides. It's on a street with three different police stations and you hear sirens at all hours of the night. Just up the street in any direction are people smoking pot, sitting on stoops, and looking at you with a mean look. There is a homeless shelter on the next block. Inside was newer and clean, but the quality of the construction is SO poor that it's embarrassing. See photos. Each room had a mini split...
