"Staff were very friendly and helpful.
The room we had (family room) was tired and well used.
Poorly set out, occupants of the double room had to go through the twin room to access the bath room.
Unfortunately very noisy hot and smelly due the kitchen extractor fan located outside the bedroom window.
Breakfast although served by helpful waitress was poor, I x small rasher of bacon, a small what looked like and tasted like cheap brand sausage.
Toast was thin tasteless cheap (45p) supermarket...
"Attending a wedding there. Stayed there for 3 days. Room was clean. Staff were excellent. Good breakfast unfortunately, the room had no air conditioning being downstairs. You had to be careful about leaving the window open, would we stay there again? Yes"
"Really great place to stay if you have a flight from Bristol airport. Check in was at the bar and then they showed us to our room. Very clean and comfortable bed. We also arrived just before 6pm on a Sunday when the restaurant kitchen closed at 6pm and they allowed us to eat once we had settled in after this time and made an exception. Continental breakfast was laid out from around 1am for early flights which was a really extra touch. Would really stay again even if it wasn’t for an early...
"The hotel was clean and the bed comfortable, the breakfast was terrible, toast burnt black and poached egg was solid and in edible, staff asked if I wanted another, I said as long it was not the same as the one that had been presented too me, it never turned up after about half an hour so I left, never to return"
"Booked a deluxe room for 2 nights. Allocated a substandard room, needing refurbishment, tired with curtains hanging off poles, dark and dingy with broken tiles in the bathroom. Staff in denial initially, eventually moved into another much better standard of room. On our departure we had no hot water. Breakfast was a poor experience too with staff in addition not informing us that Breakfast started later on a Saturday. So no breakfast that day due to our departure time.
However, we attended our...
"We had a really lovely weekend stay. The setting is gorgeous and the village is beautiful, with the pub offering delicious food, friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere. The duplex was clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated, and made a great base for exploring the area.
There are a few little things that could be improved, such as some vibration noise from the tray on top of the fridge and the bathroom sensor switching off during the shower. There’s also a raised tile in the shower that’s...
"Amazing place, people accommodation and food, and let’s not forget the farm shop! I won’t go in to detail just go stay there and see for yourself. Truly wonderful and will be back one day. Thanks Ian 👍"
"A lovely stop over with our dog. Room was fine and bed comfy. Ensuite bathroom was also fine and clean. Food in the pub was good and fresh especially the breakfast.
Dog given a sausage which he was very greatful for.
A perfect stop over in a peaceful location"
