"Room was what we needed, hotel was nice and traditional , decor was great, service was good but cappuccino was cold"

"Another great stay at this fine establishment. No suite this time but a nice room all the same. Got a great workout at the hotel gym followed by an invigorating shower. A full night's sleep was followed by a wonderful breakfast spread. The hotel is within distance of several dining options. Look forward to another stay here."

"The hotel is perfectly located in the middle of town, right next door to the cathedral. A great launch site for exploring the city. We were able to park directly under the hotel which was very convenient as it was raining. The hotel is clean and tidy, but starting to show its age in places and probably due a refurbishment at some point. We enjoyed our stay and would probably stay there again."

"This was my first stay in DoubleTree Southampton and it’ll be the first on my list of places to stay when I return to the city again. Friendly staff, fantastic rooms, great shower in room, great food and atmosphere and breakfast was top notch. Definitely recommend this hotel."

"The room was clean and peaceful. I will recommend this hotel."

"Lovely hotel with loads of parking space. Would highly recommend for families as we thoroughly enjoyed the soft play and swimming areas. Would definitely visit again"

Rooms down this or that twisty hallway are pretty much the same size, just large enough, Room w/garden view would be preferable. No robes or slippers but tea pot and biscuits in rooms. Off street parking, although we didn’t use it. Need to be a bit careful in bathroom as shower can spray outside of glass...

"Second Nature Southampton is a lovely hotel. The room we had was spacious and clean, with a nicely sized bathroom. It’s not a far walk to Oxford Street, where you can find a collection of good restaurants and pubs. St. Mary’s Stadium, the goal of our trip, was an easy twenty minute walk away. The friendly front desk staff can get a little overwhelmed, as they have to attend to check-ins and the cafe; and if you have an email with your parking confirmation, have it ready, otherwise you may be...

"Great hotel and incredibly helpful and friendly staff, big thanks to Mark in reception who was really attentive and nice during a midnight check in. Thanks."
