A really great outing for the senses: comfortable, beautiful presented old school house with an antique shop in the playground, good parking, superb village location, convenient for the whole of west Norfolk and close enough to major routes for the rest of the county / region. Bridget and Andrew are excellent hosts, the breakfast was wonderful, wi-fi strong, and decoration throughout is marvellous. Very good value stay - top quality shower!! Tower of St Andrew's, Congham I met one of the churchwardens tidying up the noticeboard and she told me, amongst other things, that St Andrew's annual summer fête hosts the World Snail Racing Championships, see http://www.snailracing.net/. A cunning piece of fête marketing! Next year's championship is on Saturday 19th July 2008 starting at 2:00pm.
