"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We loved our stay in Lyon! The hotel was perfectly located, making it easy to explore the city on foot. The architecture was absolutely magnificent. We especially loved the beautiful blend of old and modern design—the high ceilings, large windows, and historic details gave the hotel so much character while still feeling stylish and comfortable. A truly beautiful place to stay, and we would happily return!"

"The staff at Le Phenix are amazing . Always friendly. I felt comfortable with them. They are gracious for we English speakers who have less than rudimentary French (I practiced! Really I did!) The rooms have good AC if necessary. The restaurant associated with the hotel is shockingly good. Such a wonderful lunch! We did not have the breakfast buffet because we eat so light, we did not find value. I do wish there was a hot water kettle in the room. Beds are comfortable. Our room was spacious....

"The location is in a district that has no restaurants open on Mondays. All the restaurants and pubs were closed for a five block radius. I would not stay there on Mondays. If there are 2 of make sure to request an extra towel because the hotel only supplies 1 per room."
