"Nice country style hotel. Surrounded by good open spaces.
Dog friendly rooms, with also an on site dog wash (we wish we’d taken our dog).
Good terrace to sit on with a drink from the bar in the original building.
Didn’t eat dinner in the restaurant, but was slightly overrun at breakfast.
Early check ins and late check outs are charged as extras."
"Bed is very hard, uncomfortable to sleep
Room service is expensive, paid 38 quid , asked to swap chips for potato and she still charged me extra, so attention to detail is poor, when you paying so much. Otherwise its a very nice hotel, rooms are spacious and aircon.
Also this occasion I had a view of inside, didn't like that at all, if you psychic high prices for a room, then at least let me see outside"
"The family room was on the 3rd floor with two windows which were in poor condition. Only one was safe to open. The room was spacious with a lovely bathroom. The breakfast was very good as was the restaurant where we had dinner one evening. Staff were always very helpful and polite."
"Excellent stay - friendly staff all members I met including the ladies who do the cleaning are polite and helpful…clean rooms always freshen up when your out for the day, only negative would be breakfast didn’t have fresh fruit option and toast was pretty basic not much choice"
"One of the loveliest places I’ve ever stayed at. It far exceeded my expectations, the rooms were cozy and charming, the bathroom was spacious and had a wonderful clawfoot tub. Dinner at the pub was amazing. I only wish we could have stayed here another night. Thank you for an incredible stay!!"

"Charming, quirky place, more than adequate for a one night stop over. Pleasant room with nice, recently refitted bathroom - sadly very hot/stuffy during recent hot weather. EV chargers did not work for me unfortunately. Food rather uninspiring and underwhelming, otherwise would stay again."
"Somewhat unloved and in need of refurbishment. A generous layer of dust around the skirting boards. Areas of damp and attempts to fix them in the corridors.
Far from great view of the oil tank outside the window.
If you like a cold shower this is the place to stay.

"The indoor and outdoor swimming pools were great, as well as the jacuzzi. The steam rooms and saunas were just like regular warm rooms but not hot enough I’m afraid, they were also too small and a bit of a let down so didn’t use them. The beds at the hotel rooms were squeaky, you can find much better quality bed at a Premier inn or Travelodge. For such an expensive place you also had poor wiring hanging from the TV and it didn’t feel as “premium” for the price you’re paying."
