"One night stay. Very friendly staff. Lovely village location with nice view of the Wye valley hillsides. Very reasonable pub standard evening meal, breakfast was spot on. The room was clean and comfortable with all the bits you would expect, kettle with tea and coffee, a nice bottle of sparkling water, TV, good quality soap and shower gel etc. Great value for a very reasonable price. Add in that they served a well kept pint of Tribute Ale."

"We were walking the wales coast path and had not factored in the demand around Cardiff for accommodation when concerts are on. The student accommodation was the only reasonable priced option we could get for the weekend ( still more expensive than a premier inn) The main issue was heat, the room was very warm, a fan was provided but the window is only open a few issues (H&S) therefore circulating warm air. Breakfast was really good, all freshly prepared to order (ordered the night before so ready when I arrived) Very friendly welcome and service, personable without being overfamiliar or nosey - good skill to have.
