"We enjoyed our stay at Bahia Principe in Runaway Bay. The welcoming was great and inviting. The room was clean, large and with the layout of the bathroom just right. We appreciated the view since it had a partial sea view and a view of the local homes next tot he property. We were on the 7th floor so the view was relaxing. "I would never recommend this property. It is dated and worn out. The food was terrible and yet somehow everything tasted the same. We couldn’t even try some of the restaurants on property because they were either closed or no reservations available. The 2 hot tubs we saw were filthy and damaged. Snorkeling from the beach was literally the only redeeming quality for this resort. This experience was so bad that I wouldn’t trust any Couples Resort moving forward.
