"Well first of all Expedia screwed up and booked 2 rooms and I didn't realize it until the day of our stay and then I called and the guy at Expedia said the 1 reservation was cancelled but the other one was still good. Well we get to sonesta and both of our rooms were cancelled by Expedia. So the guy at the desk DEMENTRIE was so awesome and got our room reinstated as our daughter had a club volleyball tournament at Columbus convention center the next morning. Then he did an extra special thing...

"There was no maid service the three days that we stayed at the Plaza. We had to go and ask for fresh washcloths and towels from the front desk clerk. We put the door sign for maid service out on Friday and Saturday but no one came to clean the room. "

"There was one elevator running for the whole weekend , no free bikes like advertised, breakfast wasn’t free had to pay for it . The staff was friendly but it wasn’t like other experiences I have had with other hotels . I was a disappointed honestly. Especially for what I was charged . The parking was another issue in its self . Just be sure to pay attention and read stuff and know it’s not like other typical hotels . "

"The food (breakfast buffet and restaurant) was great. The staff was lovely. We booked 10 minutes before we arrived, after leaving another unsuitable hotel. Staff was very understanding and accommodating. 12/10 would recommend. "

"When we arrived we were told our room wasn’t ready yet, even though check in was at 4:00 pm and it was 5:30pm. The staff was very apologetic and made sure to get us a room as quickly as possible. Once we got to our room we noticed it hadn’t been cleaned very well. There were hair balls in the bathroom, and dirt on the floor. "Checked in expeditiously and were escorted to the proper elevator. Room spacious, modern, and clean. Comfortable bed! Had dinner at the Keep restaurant; excellent. Only glitch was I booked through Expedia and selected the breakfast amenity, only the hotel had no clue that I did so and had to present my Expedia reservation for proof. Breakfast vouchers were issued and we enjoyed an excellent breakfast."
