"The hotel looks gorgeous.

"The hotel is open for those that are not staying there to come in
The mattresses are extremely hard, there were a few bugs in the bed that bit me.
There was no cold water in the bathroom - the side for cold water had little to no pressure so barely any water came out.
The shower head had I’m assuming mold or rust around the holes. The spray for the toilet had a broken trigger
They only provide one small bottle of water per person per day
Even though my door was locked, staff had most...
"Extremely slow check in and “room assignments.” Location of bedroom was in a place very noisy all day and all night long. Besides, we had to sleep with the window open (which didn’t help with the noise either) as the smell of the room was very strong (probably a chemical for the mosquitoes). Breakfast was ok. Location was very good close to Stone Town little streets and port."
"This is a hotel of opposites. Great location in stone town but down a dark alley you can’t quite drive to the door. Helpful reception but we’d booked 3 rooms and they initially gave us 2. Lovely clean spacious rooms but others with no view or very noisy. Wonderful old character but random electrical sockets - could only have the (empty) fridge OR the kettle OR the light plugged in. Clean bathroom with plenty of hot water and shower gel but no soap to wash hands at the basin. Great terrace for...
"An absolutely amazing stay! The rooms were really nice and comfortable. The place is right on the beach (literally, you step onto sand once you enter through the gate). And I can not say enough about how thoughtful, considerate, and kind ALL of the staff are - (for example, they stood by our chairs when we left our towels etc to go into the ocean without us asking or anything!). Definitely will be recommending to all my friends."
