"Nice pub with standard rooms. In nice location, central and easy to find. Easy and friendly check in, nice cooked breakfast too. Beds comfy. Shower was a little small. Whilst they didn't have anywhere to store bicycles indoors overnight, we were able to lock them under shelter in the tucked away Car Park at the back. Overall ideal for our one night stay."

"This was a charming country house hotel, with friendly and professional staff. However the room was a huge disappointment. While sold as small bedroom nothing prepared us for how small. No room to sit or put anything. The small furniture had the appearance of having born bought in a jumble sale. A hotel which purports to be a quality country house hotel, with rates to match, should have no rooms like this so inconsistent with a 'Hotel of Distinction'. The bathroom extractor fan sounded like an Apache helicopter landing and was unable to be mended duding our stay. Not value for money and the room was not the treat we were anticipating."
