"Lovely setting but despite the hotel seeming fairly empty we were allocated a room with a view of the road. We were only there a night. Very comfy bed. Plenty of parking. Parking signs outside don’t state that hotel guests don’t have to pay. Hotel seemed a bit short of service at breakfast. "

"Enjoyed staying at this jewel of a hotel. Friendly welcome, comfortable room, dogs made so welcome with all the comforts. Brilliant breakfast, right on the beach, great walks, big Skys, beautiful sun rise.could improve the shower over the bath, small detail but overall excellent."

"We like this location because it is convenient and very walkable to restaurants, etc. The bath in our room had been renovated recently and was very nice. The staff is amazing one of the top reasons we stay there. "

"What a lovely place to stay! The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. The hotel itself is a little tired but pleasant enough - the staff friendliness outweighed this! Would recommend and would love to stay again if I am in the area."

"Sadly on this visit the beds and overall perimeter were unkempt and untidy. There may be an intention to let things go wild. However there was a lot of weeds on previous visits everything was pristine "

"Lovely relaxing mini break. Spa treatments were woenderul, thank you Izzy. Food was good and the Spa wasn't too busy. The pianist who played in the evenings was excellent and a great addition to a relaxing evening. "

"We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. Staff were really friendly and the communication prior to our visit was expeditiously and professional. My only advice is please be aware that this is a wedding venue and the accommodation block at the rear of the main hotel, whist being comfortable and very good, has quite thin walls. If you are a light sleeper, you may not get the best night's sleep. That being said we still want to give it 5 stars. "

"Disappointed in our overall presentation in our room. The hotel had very nicely upholstered furniture but the sofa in our room was unsuitable and quite tatty. It felt unfinished. We couldn't rely on an evening meal bring available as the hotel cater for outside functions. We have stayed here before and our experience then was better than this stay. The hotels position for touring is ideal"
