"Overall very good, staff were all great. A shame breakfast closes quite early and the quality wasn't much different to a 3*. Our kettle wasn't working properly and unfortunately there weren't any replacements available but otherwise everything was in good condition and very clean. Some food vending machines or a room service menu would be nice as there is not much for vegetarians locally."

"Hotel was very clean & pleasant,room was clean & tidy, however info stated that room would be ready from 15:00, we were delayed by traffic & booked in at 16:25 to be told that room was not ready. We went for a drink in the bar & receptionist said she would phone when ready. As we were attending a function from 14:00-18:00 3 miles away we waited until 17:25 but room was still not ready. "Room was very nice but only place to store toiletries was a ledge above the toilet, inconvenient and a risk of your toothbrush falling in. Stairwell from street level before check in on the first floor is daunting after dragging your bags from the train station. Very good location"
