"The staff was outstanding. The welcome ginja drinks was a delightful surprise. The breakfast was excellent and varied. The room was fabulous. We loved to stay inside the walls, but parking outside the walls was a challenge with dragging luggage’s over a long bumpy road. Not for the faint of heart."
"Terrific hotel, right in the center of Obidos! Staff was wonderful and helpful and you are a short walk to the center of the castle in the old town.
The view from our room was the spectacular site of the castle walls lit up at night and a church off to the right!
Buffet breakfast was large and plentiful. The evening reception was very nice as well. The hotel itself is like a mini museum. We enjoyed walking around and looking in all the nooks and crannies.

"The rooms downstairs in the “basement” had a musty smell. The staff was gracious enough to move one of our four rooms upstairs and another to a different hotel. It was an inconvenience but we only stayed one night."
