"Great place to stay, food good, comfý bed and the staff are all extremely helpful. I wouldn't stay anywhere else when going to that part of Cornwall. My only negative comment is the indoor pool was cold and it has a outdoor jacuzzi which is cold too, they have just had this refurbished so maybe management will be improving the problem. They provide a shuttle bus to Polzeath and Rock, from Rock you can get the little ferry across to Padstow. The area is quite and relaxing with a few restsurants...

"We stayed in an annex room, number 1. This room had an extra bedroom and was very spacious. The bathroom was very nice with lots of towels. The tea/coffee tray in the room was by far the best we had seen in a very long time, not stingy like most places. The full English was amazing as was the service from the young lady that waited at our table. We had booked the Camelot Hotel but changed it after we read a few reviews. "This is a lovely place to stay. My room was small but had lovely touches like bathrobes and pillow spray. Only thing to be aware of is the is no parking nearby.. this is fine as the location makes up for it but the car park is a steep hill walk away. I recommend driving down and dropping off any luggage then going to park. "

Only issue was trying to find the 'central area' to drop off our rubbish, only bin we could find was behind some barriers, so had to leave it outside the property.
